Aliases: None
Medium: Ficton Novel From: Watership Down Author: Richard Adams
Alignment: Hero
Strengths: Has random flashes of the future.
Weaknesses: Tendency to be pessimistic due to knowing the unfortunate future.
Characteristics: Smaller than normal, fury all over. Quite timid.
Background: Grew up in Sandleford. He is one of five siblings. His home gets destroyed and most of his family fall in the disaster.
Family: Brother Hazel.
He is one the most underrated Heroes in my books. He's thoughtful, friendly, and wouldn't hurt a fly while saving his closest friends... that kind of reminds me of Piglet wouldn't you agree? Although I find in that psychedelic movie made from this book the heroes villains a little more frightening. The cartoon caricatures with there voice overs adopt a airy tone. I prefer the book by a long shot. |

Actual Name: Cu Chulainn Medium: Graphic Novel (DC) From: The Ulster Cycle Author: Celtic Myths
Alignment: Hero
Strengths: He can go into a battle rage, or berzerker, in which his body moves within its skin, his hair stands on end, a fountain of blood erupts from the top of his head like a mast, his legs turn backwards, one eye becomes very large, and a halo of light appears around his head. The only way to stop this berserker transformation was to be carried by a group of young virgins and thrown into three consecutive giant cauldrons of cold water, the first one bursting from the heat, the second boiling and the third cooling him down enough to return to normal.
He is immune to Macha's curse, which causes the men of Ulster to suffer from pain equivalent to childbirth.
Weaknesses: Has a sacred bond with dog-flesh that, if broken, will start the stage for his demise.
Characteristics:
Background: Cu Chulainn gets his name when he kills the guard dog of a smith, then promises to serve as a guard dog for the smith in return.
Family: Mother: Lugh, Father: Deichtine (who were also brother and sister son and daughter of Conchobar). |

Name: Getafix
Medium: Graphic novel From: Asterix Author: Goscinny and Uderzo
Alignment: Hero
Strengths: Most accomplised druid in all of Gaul, or the Roman Empire. Can make magic potions, most known for his secret magic potion that makes the last little village with standing the Romans unbeatable.
Weaknesses: With out his secret potion he would be like Superman with kryptonite. Considering his age he'd be most frail with out it.
Getafix is the all knowing druid in the small Gaul village where Asterix and Obelix reside. His character in the the graphic novel plays a humorous role. He is the least barbaric out of all the chracaters, apart from maybe that Bard. Tends to be a source of knowledge for our heroes Asterix and Obelix. Has a good humor and a name to match. |

Flash Gordon is one of the silliest super heroes of all time; still very amusing to watch. He has some similarities to Batman in the sense he is still human. Flash Gordon has no other special abilities other than he is an American quarterback. The villains in the movie Flash Gordon and the Masters of the universe are equally pitiful. The main villain being Emperor Ming, whose eyebrow's seem to define his villainous behavior along with his ridicules collar.
Flash at times gets confused, but it's lucky for him his friends pass him something resembling an American foot ball; When this happens flash seems to be able to knock his foes down with ease. I'm not sure if he has a high charisma. He has his dashing blond hair, but Emperor Ming's daughter falls for him which..... isn't saying much as she seems to fall for everyone in the film.
He's a fun hero to watch but alas one I wouldn't wish to be. The orginonal comics of the 1930's would have been (I asume) epic for the time |
