Cu Chulainn
Actual Name: Cu Chulainn
Medium: Graphic Novel (DC)
From: The Ulster Cycle
Author: Celtic Myths
Alignment: Hero
Strengths: He can go into a battle rage, or berzerker, in which his body moves within its skin, his hair stands on end, a fountain of blood erupts from the top of his head like a mast, his legs turn backwards, one eye becomes very large, and a halo of light appears around his head. The only way to stop this berserker transformation was to be carried by a group of young virgins and thrown into three consecutive giant cauldrons of cold water, the first one bursting from the heat, the second boiling and the third cooling him down enough to return to normal.
He is immune to Macha's curse, which causes the men of Ulster to suffer from pain equivalent to childbirth.
Weaknesses: Has a sacred bond with dog-flesh that, if broken, will start the stage for his demise.
Characteristics:
Background: Cu Chulainn gets his name when he kills the guard dog of a smith, then promises to serve as a guard dog for the smith in return.
Family: Mother: Lugh, Father: Deichtine (who were also brother and sister son and daughter of Conchobar).

It is very interesting to read Celtic myths. Well, it seems to me they reflect something real of those times. They preserved the form and sense and from them we can make a conclusion what people thought and what were the main values.
